Out of sheer laziness, when I first opened the doors here at Browsersphere, I grabbed what I thought was a nice, clean WordPress theme, Grid Focus, and put it up as the default theme.  My main purpose for this site was to provide good browser-related content, and not so much to catch anybody’s eye with a web design.  In fact, this was one of the first sites I’ve been involved in where I actually only really cared about the content being sent out in the web feed.  However, as any blogger knows, the site itself becomes an important hub for referring to the past, reading comments and collecting feedback, etc.

Therefore, I’ve given Browsersphere a bit of a design refresh tonight.  This time around, I opted to go with a theme called ColdBlue.  It’s still nice and clean, but not so monochromatic as the previous theme.  I tweaked quite a few of the page templates, added a rule to the main style sheet, tested my changes across various areas of the site, and at this point things seem to be looking how I want them to.  If you’re reading this in a feed reader, please do drop by and have a look.  I’m interested in any and all feedback.

Finally, rest assured that the content will remain king around here.  I just had a design itch that needed to be scratched.
